Thank you for being part of the TrendesignersHost community. We are reaching out to let you know about an upcoming change to our hosting infrastructure — specifically regarding inode allocations on new hosting plans. We want to be fully transparent about what is changing, why we are making this decision, and — most importantly — how it affects you.
Effective from 1 July 2026, new hosting plan subscriptions at TrendesignersHost will include a defined inode limit per plan, rather than the previously listed "Unlimited Inodes." This change applies only to new plans purchased from this date forward.
An inode is a data structure on your server that stores information about each file and folder on your hosting account — every image, email, plugin file, cache file, and log file counts as one inode. Think of inodes as "slots" that your server uses to track and manage files.
When an account accumulates an extremely high number of files — often in the hundreds of thousands — it starts to consume disproportionate server resources, which can slow down response times for all users sharing that server environment.
If you purchased your current plan before 1 July 2026, nothing changes for you. Your plan remains exactly as it was — no inode limit will be applied retroactively. You are fully protected.
Plans ordered from 1 July 2026 onwards will include defined inode limits per tier. These limits are generous and more than sufficient for any standard website, blog, or online store.

For reference: a standard WordPress website with plugins and media typically uses between 20,000 and 60,000 inodes. Even our Starter plan's 100,000-inode allocation leaves comfortable headroom for a fully functioning site.
